Age Limit: Candidates age should be 15 years & not above 24 years as on 01-01-2015. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates, 3 years in case of OBC candidates and 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Matriculation (Matriculate or 10th class in 10+02 examination system recognized by Board.
Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on their performance in merit & interview.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.100/- through Bank Draft/ IPO on any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of FA & CAO, South Eastern Railway/ Garden Reach, payable at Kolkata. SC/ ST, women, minorities & EBC candidates are exempted from fee.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format on A4 size paper duly filled in by the candidates own handwriting along with attested copies of age proof, qualification certificates/ mark sheets, caste certificate, IPO/ bank draft, one passport size photograph, two self-addressed envelopes (size 11”X5”) duly affixed with Rs. 5/- postage stamp in an envelop should be superscribed as “Application for Training under Apprentice Act” to the Workshop Personnel Office, Kharagpur Workshop, South Eastern Railway from 09-05-2015 to 08-06-2015 by 16:00 hrs.
